HELP-Hotel on route south to Cornwall?

Does anyone know of a cheap overnight place to stay on or around th M5? We are travelling from Leeds to Cornwall (Porkellis) in July for a cheap camping holiday, but need to break the journey on the way. I was trying for a cheap hotel room, and wondered if anyone knows of the best latest deals, or could recommend somewhere?
I don't want to pay loads and end up defeating the object of camping on the cheap! (Can't pitch the tent late at night, or I would do that!)

look for travelodge deals, I don't think you'd get a £10 one, but you might still pick-up one for £26 if your flexible where you stop - there are quite a few down the M5 corridor - search for Exeter and they will throw up all the ones in the locality too.

Please see this attached link, we stopped just before Christmas 2005, it has Harry Ramsden incorporated in this Travelodge, it’s away from services, not much noise from nearby M5, highly recommended, and Exeter is well worth a shopping trip.
