Sugguestions for activities for a two year old

I work part time. When I'm at work my little one who is 2 1/2 is at nursery. When we are off...amongst the house work, we go go the library and she chooses some books for the week. Sometimes, we make cupcakes (she like to stand on a chair in the kitchen doing all the mixing and decorating). She usually likes Bob the Builder....she also enjoys painting, colouring and going to the park on her push bike. Dressing up is also fun. Just look around your house, you are bound to find old hats, scarves, gloves and bags for her to pretend with (if not, sure your wife will have some lying around).

When my two were young we had a "making bag" all the empty boxes, cartons, anything interesting went in. Then it would come out with a roll of sticky tape, some scissors and we'd make things, houses, boats, spaceships. Really good for the imagination too. My teenage children still remember "the bag" because we had fun, in fact to have it out was a good bribe....those were the days.if i had known then what i know now0
