If they decide to cancel use of the code, they can. Basically they don't have to honour the code, so then you have two choices:

1) Keep the goods and pay full price.

2) Send them back for a refund of what you paid.

Mine seems to have gone through, no action on my online bank statement yet though so i won't believe it til i see it. I did order an additional sheet though so there was a plus balance to pay - not sure if this makes a difference. (This was with Empire)

What I meant was you buy something for £1 instead of £6 - they charge you £1 for it. Later they add a £5 charge. You return the item, and they refund you £1 but they do not refund the separate £5 charge.

That's what happened to me last time I got caught out with a code, anyhow, but it looks like things are working differently here, if they charge you the full price then refund the discount separately, it would probably work out fine so you can ignore my ramblings

Robot duvet, fleece and cushion all arrived today. Invoice states full price as always so don't panic, went online and sure enough I have £2.82 to pay i always like to pay a bit with theses codes and not go for the -11 just to be a bit more above board. I had already ordered these before it was posted on here and had seen the code on another website but thanks op.

I ordered the Robot Duvet Cover through Empire using the code. Order was accepted and I got an order number and a delivery date for this Wednesday. I hadn't heard any more since then so rang them to confirm when I could expect it. They now say they can find no trace of my order! I wonder how many more will find their orders are going to disappear.

after receiving a phonecall from Empire yesterday saying it was out of stock, have just had an email saying my order wont go through for the bedset as voucher not valid for anything under £5.
im really confused now and quite peeved as had ordered the robot wall art and fleece in one order, charged the right amount minus the £5 voucher and that has been cancelled too as fleece no longer instock. also now bedset no longer in stock and my bank is around £15 down :-( no money and no goods

Ordered 3 different duvet sets but used the £5 discount code on all 3 and have had the £5 discounts paid back into my bank account allthough the full price had been taken originally - duvets arrived first thing monday after ordering saturday - no problem atall!.

hiya i used code to order rachael hale fleece blanket - cost me just £2.34! and was delivered today. i went for the blue one and its perfect for present for my niece so going to order another one for someone else now! thanks everyone for this. btw i paid just using a card and no problems at all so even if you have an account maybe its worth paying cash for these offers to go through

i'm being charged the codes back over the past year or so since i started using them, so obv things can't be returned as they have been used/worn etc. what irritates the hell outta me is i've been talking to another couple of peeps who have been caught using codes and they have been given a slap on the wrist and said 'no more codes' but not been charged them back, and i get charged!!!
no fair!!

I had no problem with the code and item arrived super-quick but it shall remain unopened until statement arrives because I will have no qualms in sending it back!
