Renault Megane 1.5DCi Servicing Bills
Am in the market for a new car and was wondering if any megane diesel owners out there could let me know how much they pay for an annual/12000 mile service.
Renault currently have an offer with new cars of £100 liberty service chage which covers 3 years servicing.
Trying to work out how good this offer is.
Thanks

I have a 1.5 Megane Expression DCI 100 - the major services aren't annual they are every 18000 miles (even better!) and I recently had this done - it cost me £172. This inc oil filter, oil, washer and new main beam new bulb. The service itself was £102.33 plus vat. So £100 for the 3 years service seems pretty good value to me.
Hope this helps0 -
http://forum.parkers.co.uk/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9577 hello I know a few people who have owned renaults especially diesels and have had nothing but trouble with them sorry about this but I felt obliged to tell you about them please look at the parkers forum above and read from other people experiences concerning renaults ,also peachorlemon site is good to look at when buying a car as they tell you as it is.
I do hope this helps and I know it has nothing to do with servicing but renault extend servicing to get fleet buyers to look at them faviourably i.e keep costs down . But to us the public thats not good as you should change the oil+filter at least every 6000 miles in my opinion as any longer is not good for the engine especially renaults and the EGR valve which is very prone to clogging up and blowing up turbos and engines trust me.0
