Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a Toshiba Equium Satellite A60 laptop. Since last week I have been having a problems burning onto a cd-rw disk and even a dvd-rw disk. The drive I have is a Pioneer dvr-k13a which is a combined cd-rw also. I used to use windows media player put now that will not burn. Now I am using nero but keep getting a message 'Power Calibration Error'. I have looked on their website and two fixes are firmware updates for the drive(none available) and their could be a problem with using cheap media, however I use expensive media so this can't be the problem. I have also cleaned the lens. What else can I do I have no idea!
P.S I can play dvd's and cd's with no problem.
Thanks in advance! :T

I used to get this as well. Try a different brand of cd/dvd.0

Ye spot on.. before you automatically think its a hardware issue, try using other media. If you get the same problem, then if your laptops under warranty great.. if not buy a new drive for a few bob and replace it.. many tutorials of how to on the net.. surprisingly easy for laptops.. just slide out and in[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
