Northern Ireland Car Insurance

Hi,

Having been on confused.com and Insuresupermarket.com i have realised that the majority of sites they retrieve data from don't actually provide motor insurance for Northern Ireland (on the internet anyway). The websites seem to deal on the UK mainland only - i only got two quotes from confused.com and Insuresupermarket redirected me to a single insurance company whenever i put in my postcode.

So these two sites seem to be pretty useless unless you live on the uk mainland. I was wondering whether you know of any sites that do a similar job but for companies which will insure Northern Ireland residents? Whether that be insurance companies in the south of Ireland or Northern Ireland itself.

Unfortunately the two sites mentioned are of little use to us across the water here it would seem

Hi - don't believe there is any separate insurance comparison site for NI so suggest you try Local Money Saving on this site and their NI sub forum which suggests many brokers etc in NI or who will quote for NI.

We've had this query before so I will move you over to the NI board and see if they can help you out a bit.
