  • I have snicked back to let you know my updates, been very busy at work so not been posting just popping in breifly.
Since i last posted i have manged to pay £900 off my loan and further £200 of the Virgin C/c which i am really pleased with.
Had big problems with Abbey, i was finding payment and cash withdrawal coming out of my account 4 or 5 times and then going back so i never lost any money but it concerned me as i'm sure it would anybody. To cut a long story short o complained and was fobbed off with "we'll send you a letter2 which never came and "i'll get a manager to call you back" which never happened this carried on for nealy 10 days in the end i just refused to get off the phone until they told me why it had happened and agreed to pay some compensation, in the end i got £200 and a large bunch of flowers and a very grovally phone call. So looking into moving accounts at the moment the firts direct people have a promtion of £100 when you open the account and have wages paid into it, so maybe we'll give that a go.
Off on hoilday in 2.5 weeks so putting bits away for that including £200 from Abbey for spending money.
I don't expect to go shopping for a week or so or even possibly until after our hoilday if i'm careful with the stuff in the frezzer and fridge.
Dug up the last of our potatioes and put them away in a sack so they last as long as possible, maybe until late September.
Renew the buliding and contents insurance last week was quored £298.00 by Quickfit and got new policy for £144.00 with Aviva (Was Norwich Union) free contents insurance with that and 7000ipoints too.

All in all things going ok........so.....

Just been looking back at my diary although i found it difficult to keep up with it online i have managed to clear a loan, pay off an extre 18K off our mortage but still have an intrest free C/C balance of £8K approx. I had started managed to kick the supermerket food fix, but in the last fewmonths thats built up again so i now have two bursting frezzers. I am going to do a stock take this afternoon and meal plan the contence till its clear. Also NDS's have been getting less and less so back to NSD's on Mon to Fri. Also on the health front my husband and i have become very active Geocachers, so we plan to walk more with a small picnic with the inproving weather. Glad to be back, i feel more in control already with just putting this on line.

Well survied the weekend with out going into a supermarket, yippee.......Saturday we took a picnic to Essex and Geocached for the day, then Sunday we again took a small picnic and walked 10 miles through the contryside, had really lovely chat with OH. Day 3 of 7 of NSD for this week. Checked the bank accounts and they haven't changed since Friday which is good. CC
  • Another NSD under my belt, DS2 is currently doing GCSE, with 3 today bless him so have been rumaging through the frezzer and cupboards for treats for his desserts. In doing so i have found alsorts of bits i can make more meals with. Also started a shopping list so i can go to the supermarket Saturday morning and just buy what i actually need and not what i think i might need. Also going to plan next weeks menu so if by chance i am missing some ingredients i can get those too. CC

Well manged to get 5 out of 7 NSD's last week. Did a bitter more shopping than i would have preffered, but all in all a good week. Lost 4 lbs when i went and got weighed on Tuesday (Yipee) Going to try a month off the booze to help with the weight loss. so today is 1 of 31 days booze free. I have been paid and all monies owed from the month paid off and i have about £40. So lots of walking and eating out of cupboards and frezzers. feeling pretty good at mo.
