Question LLoyds TSB PPI Procedure

Hi All,

I'm hoping someone can help, Ive recently requested my PPI back form LLoyds on a loan i took out in 2007. Since sending my 1st letter i've recieved two from them just saying they are still investigating the matter, now 8 weeks on i'm awaiting a response is this normal?

Hi there

Yes this is the normal procedures.
They have 8 weeks in full to respond.

In my experience with Lloyds they do tend to be last miniute sort of thing, however if the full 8 weeks have passed and they have not responded at all, you are entitled to take your complaint to the financial ombudsman service (FOS) for them to take over to investigate.

I do hope your lucky with the first decision made by Lloyds TSB, but if not then write back to them until you do receive the final response, good luck and please keep us posted.;)
