hi, i dont know if its possible, but what is the best and easy way to replace the window of a standard 6x4 garden shed?
the one i got is completely damaged, but probably can be replaced rather than buy a new shed. shall i just buy a sheet of plastic and stick it on. and how can i make it water and wind proof?
any tips??
thank you!

Assuming theres some sort of recess and beading just cut some plastic to size and replace the existing one. Use some silicone for a waterproof seal.0

If your existing window is glass then you can buy glass chaeper than you can acrylic. get the exact measurements and call your local glass supplier. It is likely to be 3mm float glass. All you need then is a bit of putty and STRONG GLOVES never pick it up with bare hands. I know it sounds like common sense but with all the precautions I have still found myself with quite deep cuts when working with glass.0

I had this problem a while ago, so i just used a old bit of glass from the green house measured it up and took it to the local glass shop who cut it in less than 2 minutes and just asked me to put a few quid in the collection box.
I originally tried to do it myself with a glass cutter, never again.....for the time i spent0 -
I agree with merc190e. If your going to cut glass let the glass shops do it, it saves time, and in my case in the past, ruined pieces of glass.0

Although a piece of glass to go in there is not expensive, so taking along a piece to b cut could be a false economy.
3mm is what a lot of people hav used. However if you want glass but are worried about safety, there is laminated glass available.
Rather more pricey but it won't shatter if damaged like normal glass, and you don't have to pre order it like you would toughened.
The choice is yours.....
