DIY ipod repair

I have a iopd nano 1st gen with a cracked LCd, Ive found a replacement screen on ebay for just under £9 but before i go ahead and buy it I thought I would have a quick check to see if its quite an easy repair to do myself, has anyone any experience of this ?

Ive been quoted between £30 and £45 for a repair centre to do the job for me :eek: so im keen to try for myself but dont want to knob it up.
