Cyprus for families in April

Think we may have finally agreed on somewhere but can anyone advise what Cyprus is like for families in April - we are thinking of going to Kefelos Beach village - We have 2 kids age 5 and 17 (both girls) we don't like drinking dancing kareoke etc , quiet stroll of an evening does us fine but need something to keep kids from getting bored eldest just wants to chill and get a tan but would like a few activities 5 year old quite easy to please parks pool and beach satisfactory. Problem is 1 travel agent will say its fine and then another says its no good not much to do - so has anyone been whats it really like - i'm just desparate for some sun :) please help

Also if anyone has any suggestions where elese we could go fire away.

Cyprus in April to perfect with children. The weather is fine for sunbathing, but not so hot that you don't want to do anything. Most resorts have a variety of things to do - and you are going to one of the largest resorts. I have been annually with my daughter for about 4 years -she's now 13. The beaches are great. At that time of the year you can try cycle hire. There are regular markets, lots of water sports, funfairs, lots of places with small rides/ crazy golf/ children's trains. I also take my daughter to things like water parks, horse riding and aquariums. Nicosia the capital is well worth a visit. Car hire is reasonable, petrol cheap, driving on same side as we drive and fairly quiet.
Check out the hotels that have children's clubs as often there are family shows etc.
