RTW Flight + Overland Travel Agent Wanted?

Hi Guys

Does anyone know of an excellent / reliable Independent Fully Bonded Travel Agency who can advise and book round the world flights and and overland travel ?

Plan to take in the USA, Cook Islands, New Zealand, Australia, Sinapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia - and if time allows Thailand and / or Laos.

I have looked at a number of web based companies and have a feel for prices but would appreciate some sound competively priced quotes from a reputable agency.

My thanks in anticipation.

I would stay away from travelbag now. Booked flights with them in the past as they were the cheapest, but not the best staff in the world

I phoned up 2 weeks ago asking for Latin America flights but was told that they were too complicated to do over the phone on the spot, so they would phone me back. No phonecall back - ever

Phoned them back for another chance, same thing happened again.

I then phoned them back on Thursday to get a final quote and told them I had never been phoned back twice before and the woman ASSURED me someone would phone me back this time.

    No phonecall.

I booked with Trailfinders on Friday, great deal, helpful staff.

Travelbag phoned today, 3 days late.

Flightcentre can be quite good aswell.

Depends where you live and what branches you have near you, but go in and ask to speak to a RTW specialist, see what deals they will give you, then check it out elsewhere before you confim.

When are you planning on gooing. Currently my BIL and SIL are back packing round the world. The last email from them said no internet to send updates as doing some Malasian islands without phones. If you can what a week I will ask her which company they used as they got openended tickets so have x number of flights but fill in the dates as they go, sort of thing. Not the best explaination I know. They set off on 01/01/06 and won't be back till July.
    I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.

I used global village for mine 3 years ago - they were very helpful sorting out what turned out to be a very last minute booking. They are not only an internet based agent but also have a proper office in central london.

Having said all that STA have branches all over the globe that will help you if you need to change flights etc so convenience could also play a part in your decision.
