Hi all and happy Father's Day to all the Dads!

DG - I hope your journey is going smoothly.

Crazychik - well done to you. That's a fantastic achievement!

MSD - well done to you with the injection.

OS-wise, I'm doing roast chicken (in the Remoska), with potatoes, courgettes, carrots and gravy. Probably the only roast dinner being cooked in this part of France!

I've just come across this site; it has recipes from around the world. http://recipes.wuzzle.org/

The weather here is lovely today; hope it is where you are, too!

    Hi

Just having a break after cleaning the kitchen. Called in on M & D this morning with card & pressie for Father's Day and came away with a large pile of magazines to read that mum had finished with so that's my evening sorted:D.
Dinner will be carbonara tonight using leftover ham.
OH is busy with some PC game (lots of gunfire!) which is great because I need to sneak off and wrap his birthday pressie for tomorrow.

Have a good evening and (((((hugs)))) to those who miss their dads and anyone else in need.

Thankyou everyone for your support, donations and well wishes. Im overwhelmed with the responses. RosyRed - this is the 2nd yr the walk has taken place. Like wise with your hospice, it was such a success, its now an annual event.
Taplady, good luck with your RFL. Dlb is also doing the same next month.
    Twink, Congrats to DS

Enjoy rest of your day peeps.

Hello everyone - just a quick hello & cheerio from me!

I'm heading off on a training course this week, so won't be around at all. I hope that everyone is well and enjoying the weather.

Had a lovely chicken and mushroom risotto for tea, followed by rhubarb crumble and custard :)

Heading off to bed now, as I'm up at 5 am to get the ferry tomorrow morning. :(

Hope you all have a good week!

I'm new to this thread so 'hello' -I've picked potatoes from my garden and cooked pork in cider to go with the potatoes carrots and green beans, peanuts and onions. Followed by DH fave syrup sponge and custard. DS came over for dinner & to see his dad.
N9eav - I'm so jealous - wish I was looking at St Michaels Mount. Had fantastic day there a couple of weeks ago whilst on holiday near Truro.
Repotted over 20 tomato plants to bigger pots - hope I've not left it too late and I get some fruit - or they'll turn out to be VERY expensive plants with all the compost I've bought!!
