I'm one of the lucky ones. I've been separated 10 years now & my 20 year old Son is still coming over this afternoon with a little something & then we'll watch the F1 GP together.
No, this is not a form of child torture, it's actually quite interesting!!!!!
Then, even worse torture, we've both got Cardiff City season tickets for next season!
My 17 year old Daughter can't come over as she's working, so I'll let her off this time!Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

my boys (8,13) like watching F1 with their granddad also, certainly not torture as far as they are concerned and they enjoy Top Gear also! Hit the snitch button!member #1 of the official warning clique.

My ex won't see his daughter today, is he unhappy? NO, because he has cut her out of his life. His choice, not hers or mine.0

I understand where you are coming from on this point personally. But my comment is aimed at those that want to see their kids and there ex's wont let them. Not the so called Dad's that walk away, I would go far further than you possibly in my comments about them! They get teh rst of us abad name!0

They do, indeed Blob - but your comment was too general and implied that any father who doesn't see their child would be unhappy and I was merely pointing out that this is not true.0

Generalisations, hay!:beer:0

Agree with blob, you are just generalising.
I understand your unhappiness, but maybe you need to find yourself a bloke
but not all dads are deadbeat.0 -
