Gift voucher out of date

Gutted!!! Received a gift voucher for a beauty salon for my birthday last August. Have arranged to have treatment before going on holiday next week and now find it was only valid for 6 months. Did try to go just before Christmas but went on several occasions and they had no price lists.
How do I stand for using it now?

It is at the discretion of the salon as to whether they will extend the validity of the voucher. Whether they had price lists or not is irrelevant, I am sure if you had asked they would have given you prices of the treatment(s) you were interested in.Gone ... or have I?0
