Help please, warning light on new Nissan Note

Hi, my parents have just bought a Nissan Note from motorpoint, and unfortunately motorpoint have conveniently mislaid the manual.

Since picking up the car yesterday there has been a warning light on the dashboard that remains illuminated throughout any journey. It is a red car shaped warning light with a key in it (so my mum says).

Does anyone know what this light means????

It's a warning light that tells you to never buy a car from MotorPlank...

Would it be more of a shape like an engine?

Could be the engine management light. Either way you need to get it diagnosed and code read to find out what the fault is.

I recommend you google and try and find out what the light actually is that is on. Probably won't help you much, but you may get a rough idea...
