Preferably, you set your PP account up with a credit card, then it takes it from that.My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Nothing is safe. I set up a new bank account and put in say, £200 and gave that info to Paypal. I just go to my bank occasionally and top it up to that (or your desired level). If my account is ever compromised, that's the most I can be robbed by.0

That's a good idea for sure. It would nice if there were some way to do that kind of thing with a credit card, so you got their purchase protection, well over £100 anyway.
Me I'd rather go without than use the sly b4st4rds ever again."Hey, if love is blind, how come lingerie is so popular?" Cochrane. P673 TNG.0 -

If you use a debit card linked to PayPal it's a lot quicker than a credit card. Yes, they simply debit your bank account. It's perfectly safe.0 -

I don't know why you think it would be quicker
And why would you care anyway? The payment goes to the buyer at the same speed - why would you want it to leave your account sooner?
What you're overlooking is that most banks won't want to know if there is ever paypal fraud, or trouble with a seller, and you paid by debit card. Using a credit card gives you more security in the event of fraud. My TV is broken!

My bad. I meant it's quicker to have a debit card linked to PayPal rather than a credit card linked to PayPal.
You have to understand a lot of sellers on sites like Ebay don't have credit card payment facilities so either only use Paypal as a means of payment or by cheque.
Also the credit card protection is for transactions for more than £100.0
