Help - hack required for Durabrand DVD-1005!

Have tried all the usual places, and found following codes:

Stop 9 7 3 5

Stop 2 3 7 9

Stop 7 3 4 4 6 6

Some people say they work, others say they don't

Nothing works for me, and now getting very frustrated

Would be grateful for any advice (don't wish to use paying service, due to bad experience!)

yes, you have to press 'open' on top of the dvd player first.

Sorry not that helpful but i've just tried it on mine which was dated Jan 2006, this one worked fine, it also worked fine with the last model, dvd-1000.
