in Credit cards
put me right if i am wrong but i was lead to believe that i could not be charged a handling fee if i was using a debit card .i just can not remember on what program i saw it on . just purchased a flight ticket on line and was charged £5 .

You might be confusing 'handling' fee (put it in an envelope etc) with the surcharge levied by some sites for a Credit Card payment?
Think you will find (T&Cs?) the handling fee is universally applied no matter the method of payment?If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
