Bank account for friends

A group of friends wish to open a bank account to save for various functions and events over the year.
I have opened bank accounts for formed groups i.e. local sports team, but this was more formalised with an AGM, Chairman, Treasurer etc. Is it possible to open a "Club" account without all the formality?
Would also like an account which could be managed online.
Thank you for your time.

Many banks offer a trust, charity and small business/organisation accounts. Just a case of picking the one best for you with the best services to offer. I'd shop around.0
