Firstplus PPI reclaiming

Options
Hi,
Just wondered if anyone had any advice.
I am currently reclaiming the above.
The loan was arranged through Loanmakers who are no longer trading.
Has anyone made a claim against loanmakers recently or do you know what i should do next?
Thanks

    Hi there

I suggest you contact the Financial compensation scheme (FSCS), if the company of loanmakers are no longer in action.
Ring the FSCS in the weekday and ask if they have loanmakers registered with them, I hear they have, and arrange for a claims form to be posted to you, once they are declared in default the FSCS will look into your your complaint.
Good luck and more details with contact of the FSCS here:

HI , keep chasing firstplus, they are responsible 100% just keep at them restating your claim. send for all your info by means of a SAR{subject access request} costs £10 .
templates on here just adjust to suit your own situation.
they will either roll over or issue a full and final letter, and then you can report them to the FOS.

What date was your loan as you should be able to make a complaint still through the FSCS (Financial Services Compensation Scheme) if this was taken out after Jan 2005 and you stated before you were only 3 years into a 15 year loan.

If this is the case then you can either try the FOS against FIrstplus (but i would ring them first and explain) or make a complaint to he FSCS. I have checked for Loanmakers in their list of companies and as yet they are not listed but its early days yet.
