Paypal currency question

Hello,
I sell books from my website using paypal and quite a lot of my sales go to America. I can get the books printed-on-demand and shipped locally more quickly and cheaply than printing and airmailing from the UK. But it irks me that I have to convert my paypal dollars to pounds, transfer them to my bank account and then pay my bank to turn them back into dollars so I can pay the printers (who don't accept paypal). I think Paypal will only let me withdraw GB£s to my bank account.
Can anyone suggest a way of avoiding the double currency conversion?
Thanks

Get your customers to send you cash?
Get a USD bank account?"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
Nationwide Credit Cards allow you to pay in foreign currencies without incurring fees.
Best place on MSE to ask about this is probably the gambling forum people on their move thousands into US dollars to bet with US bookies and then transfer it back, seems to involve moneybookers and other companies.0 -
Nationwide Credit Cards allow you to pay in foreign currencies without incurring fees. ...
Nationwide credit cards are only fee free for transactions within Europe now.
Post Office credit cards have no extra transaction fees still.

(but there's still the effect of exchange rates to consider)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
