http://india.makemytrip.com/ and http://www.outlooktraveller.com/ are 2 good sites to find all the details.

Agra has some best 5 and 7 start hotels like Taj, Jaypee international and Amar Vilas which you convert rates in GBP then it should not be that costly.

I'm not sure how many days your trip to golden triangle is else Agra can be visited by having your base in Noida (Suburb of Delhi) or Gudgaon. Actually even Jaipur can also be travelled in this way if you want to spend only 1 day at each place. And in Noida cheapest you can stay in even 10 GBP /night in a very good hotel.

Try www.indiamike.com for hotel advice or trip advisor and the Agra forums.

I stayed at a Jaypee in Agra and it was still a 5-10 minute drive to Taj in the morning, but a nice hotel. I was part of a group, so don't know the cost I'm afraid.

Make the effort and go for sunrise. There were only about 30 people in total there for sunrise, really peaceful and did the whole thing (about 2 hours) before the crowds came in.

Do you have time to go to Varanasi ? That was one of the highlights of my trip to India.

I am assuming your 2 days in Agra is including Fatehpur Sikri aswell ? otherwise 2 days in Agra is a long time

Do you have time to go to Varanasi ? - I dont know i will look into that tonight

In two days i should be able to see most things in agra, so if Fatehpur Sikri is close then yes...

    Thanks again

Fatehpur Sikri is 35km from Agra. A nice palace and also a huge mosque next to it to visit.

Would be cheap to hire a driver and car (if you've not already got one) to visit for the morning / afternoon.
