Will we get a bill?

Well decided to put laminate in hall and oh only went and drilled through a gas pipe. Called transco who came out promptly and capped it off. Told to get a corgi guy to trace and repair the leak. However we rent from the council. It was a genuine accident not deliberate damage and as the transco guy said pipes usually go up not across the doorway where oh was laying strip. Do you think we will get a bill from council and how much will it be about? We pay full rent and poll tax suppose if we had been on benefits wouldn't have to pay. Typical!!!!! costly diy improvement to someone elses house.

It says in my tenacy agreement you may not be charges if it is considered accidental damage. So fingers crossed.

You need to get upto date and start paying council tax.
