    Buy from your local dealer next to the bus/train station, the guys who do the mobile phone cards on the street. About £20 inc 4Gb Sandisk memory card. HTH.

    They bypass Nintendo's Software, even just to load the menu. They're illegal!

    They wouldn't be closing down R4 factories in China if they weren't.

    Didn't realise. A forum on my 'suppliers' site indicates they are not illegal so long as you don't download games for them. If you could find me the relevant legislation, that would be gr8.

    Selling them are illegal by the Trademarks and Copyright Acts.

    Staffordshire Trading Standards have prevented their sale in their area, based on faciliatating illegal activity.
    Nintendo have declared them illegal, for bypassing their software.
    Japan have banned them
    Can't sell them on eBay.
    E.g. The Pirate Bay was found to be unlawful by following European law, by simply providing the ability to comit copyright infringement. Similarly to the R4/Flash cards.
