Locating Mobile Phone Signal

Hi,

I just wanted to know if anyone knows how to locate someone via the web through their mobile phone signal by typing in their phone number. I am interested as it will be very useful and give me reassurance in knowing where my children are if I don't know.

I know there is a site called mapamobile.com.

1) Anyone familiar with this site and know if it is any good?

2) Are there any genuine free sites available for this please?

You'll find most of these sites will incur some kind of membership/search fees...
