Does anyone know?

If you have PPI on a loan and the loan is sold to a debt collection agency is the PPI still vail or does the selling on void it?

Lloyds are still ignoring my requests to cancel out PPI even though they are threatening to seel the debt on, including the PPI amount.

    Hi there hun

Fancy seeing you here lmao :D;), welcome to this thread hun and it makes no difference, you can still reclaim.

Now they have 8 weeks to get back and resolve your complaint, if they do not then go to the Finanical ombudsman service here:
    http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumer/complaints.htm

So I take it you have sent in a reclaim on the PPI then and you heard nothing?

I did ages ago but got the usual computer says no response. I then forgot all about it. We have now instructed solicitors for reclaim the PPI, but have heard nothing back yet.

I will be calling them next week to find out what happening. What I really don't want Lloyds to do is sell the loan on with the 4K PPI still added.

    Hi there hun

Hope you don't mind me asking, but you've not paid for any fees for using the solicitor have you?
You have not got to respond to that if you don't want to.;)

I see your point here though, so its best like you said to chase the solicitor up about this and if you've paid nothing and they cannot deal with your case any longer then I would ask the FOS to investigate this for you.

Its a no win no fee thingy, but we were told there was no guarantee they would take the case on, but we would hear from them in the next few weeks. Everything moves too slowly!

    Good.
Well hopefully they will get on with this soon, any probs let us know.;)

Your right there, everything moves very slowly when you need the money, its either none or all, do you find that as well ?

If they have already investigated the PPI mis selling and said no over 6 months ago I'm not sure how successful any further attempts to reclaim will be. If it was less than 6 months ago, then go to the FOS - it's free.
