Well I bought my 4 year old some real crocs and a alternative copy from sports direct. Straight away she put on the crocs and ran about with them all day and she says they are really comfy. I tried the other pair on her and within half an hour she has blisters on both sides of her feet where the strap joins the shoe.
Decided that crocs are better in this case,. They are only £15 for adults and £10 for kids in sports direct at the moment instore and online

I bought the cheap copy forst for about a fiver, wore them once and they were really uncomfortable. I bought the real deal from Sports Direct for £15 and they're never off my feet! I even wear them instead of slippers.:j30/7/10:j

The best things i have ever wore in the waterLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Crocs are made from a soft 'giving' plastic, whereas copies are hard and give you blisters. Theres a whole crocs thread in ' I wanna'July Win: Nokia 58000

Branded Crocs are great, so comfortable and as they are no fairly cheap at Sports Direct I'd go for these than the copy ones.. Excellent for the beach! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I got some from a cheapy shoe store - not Crocs, just sandals - not really knowing they were Croc copies - I just needed something for a music festival to wear in the showers and they were down from £5 to £2 so I thought they would be great - They are completely fab! Very soft, very durable (I've worn them and worn them since), very cheap! And having seen Crocs around since, I've realised they are very similar, if not exactly the same just without a croc logo.
I think it depends on the copy whether they are any good or not - mine are really lovely and (despite being sure they would) don't make my very stinky feet smell either - miracle!Do not feed the trolls please.0 -
I bought some Crocs(Alice) last spring & although I love them, I haven't worn them since late summer last year. They made my feet sweat(my feet are ALWAYS cold!)& gave me blisters on my toes.:(
My OH has always hated the look of Crocs but changed his mind when he saw a pair of Athens a few weeks ago & bought them. He's only worn them a couple of times as they have given him huge blisters on his instep every time he wears them!
Most people have nothing but good to say about Crocs, I wish I could say the same, but I'd go with the majority vote if I were in your shoes(no pun intended!:D)0 -
Crocs are great in that they are so comfy. However my feet always get totally disgusting and black in them (road dust etc) and I always end up having to wash my feet when I get home. Does this only happen to me or is this just a generally accepted disadvantage of crocs? Even when I wear normal sandals my feet don't get that dirty and black!0

I wear my Crocs as slippers and take them on holiday for round the pool. They are really comfy but have ZERO street cred! That's the only down side to them. Not acceptable as ladies summer footwear in my opinion, get some pretty sandals instead and keep your Crocs for home!0
