How to fix the drum belt on a zanussi tc 71 14w

Hi, the drum belt shredded, we've got a replacement and put it around the drum but are having trouble making it turn the drum. any ideas?

sorry gave the wrong question im struggling to fit a drum belt on a zanussi tumble dryer model no tc7114w iv got the belt around the drum but cant get any tension the motor moves both ways can anyone advise ?

If you put the belt on the drum and the motor and then move the motor as far away from the drum as possible to tension the belt. Then tighten the bolt to fix the motor in place. If the belt will not tighten, there is a chance that you have the incorrect size belt.
