    Hi Jillie and Glam

Glad you got your HIPG. I had a letter yesterday telling me that, as the midwife had filled out the form one single solitary day early, they would not be sending me the money. However, at additional cost to the NHS and further hassle to me, I am welcome to take up another midwifes appointment to get another form signed and send it off then they will pay me.

Honestly, and this stupid government wonder why we begrudge paying tax when they waste it like this. I'm furious and so was the midwife. She even asked me if they thought she didn't have anything better to do with her time.

Bless her, she has done me another one which I will post after work tomorrow so fingers crossed for payment as quickly as you too.

    Good luck for tomorrow tara.

    xxxx

Oh how pathetic! Yes it is really quick so hopefully you'll have it by the end of next week. I've added mine to my mat leave fund in my sig :D

    Evening girls.

Been catching up during the day (when I should have been working much harder than I was!), so it's good to come home and not have millions of pages to read through. Usually don't get through them til about 10pm!

Hugs to you Glam - I don't think your OH realises how lucky he is! You seems super organised and efficient and always on the go doing stuff for him or in the house. I am nowhere near as motivated as you. But still more so that DH, but he's not too bad.

It would have been nice to come home to dinner tonight though - I have been awake since 5.30am. Only got to bed at 12, and was up 3 times in between. I am absolutely shattered. DH worked from home today, and didn't give dinner a thought! So I had to stop off at shops on way home, then come home and cook dinner, do a washing, and now off to make lunch for tomorrow.

My heartburn/hips/ribs have been bothering me today, and I am peeing for Scotland! And I am disgusted at how swollen my feet are. Pregnancy is great isn't it?! :T

Harley - that is mental. It's probably some automated system somewhere where they can't bend the procedure because the letters are issued automatically or something. It's a ridiculous waste of time and money though.

Fidget - take your maternity leave whenever you want to! People have asked me why I am starting so early too, but it's my decision and I would prefer a few weeks off first. I am still going to have 9 months to spend with the baby so it's about getting a balance that suits you personally isn't it?!

Tara - hope you are doing ok and the sweep goes well tomorrow. I can't believe it's nearly July already. I kept thinking you were still a good few weeks away from your due date but it's nearly upon you!

That's because I've never gone on about how far along I am, when people asked I always said 2 months to go or a couple of weeks.;) Time goes faster when you don't actualy count down, one I can only put down to experience!
