hi when we moved in to our rented accomadation it included all pots/pans etc brand new...we are now moving out next week... my question is in relation to the pans...obvioulsy after being used alot [ 5 students all cook at different times] they arent brand new ''non stick'' any more...especially the frying pan...
is there any way i could clean this to get it to the best it could be?
and the other pans are stainless steel....what cleans this up the best?
cups etc we will replace as they were only from asda the cheapest ones at like 20p lol!:rotfl:
when my sister visited she left her straightners on my carpet [ stupid girl!!!] which left a nasty line burn...does anyone thing i will be charged for re-carpeting the whole room

thank you in advance! xx

Your best bet is to post your query over on the OS Board (old style) where they have things called flyladies and much random cleaning knowledge.
The LL has to allow for fair wear and tear (although this means normal usage not dirt or specific damage, say if it's regularly been allowed to burn dry) so if it was a cheapish frying pan in a property with 5 students, it should not be expected that it is handed back in pristine condition.
All furnishings etc have a limited lifespan and ,even if you were asked to replace something, there would have to be a calculation involving its age and condition at the start of the tenancy and how long it should reasonably be expected to last.
Go chat to the flyladies

If they were good quality pans they will scrub clean. If they're cheap nasty pans they probably won't ever look half decent again.
As long as you've not burnt through then it's probably wear and tear.
Your sister should foot the bill for the carpet charges you'll get docked if you can't remove it.0
