  • I wanted to do this with RBOS earlier in the year, but the CSR told me they'd have to run a credit checkeach time they lowered it! It didn't make any sense to me, but she insisted that's the case. I didn't want that many searches on my file so ended up saving to pay it instead.

    Every time you lower your overdraft they will credit check you again.

    You would be better of opening a second account with them and then transferring x amount of money every month until your overdraft is paid off.
