Have a Amex Gold Card with a 0% for 6 mths. on purchases only. Rang them up today to enquire about a BT for 6 mths. and was told - NO. Then advised them to cancel my card, surprise, was offered 0% BT for 6 mths. Question : Do I BT from Amex to my Mint card then do a transfer & save from Mint to my savings account???? Question : Is there any problems doing a BT with American Express???? Advice appreciated. Thanks.
