Southern
hey everyone
has anyone else received a free energy monitor from Southern? It came out of the blue. I've always been impressed with these guys. They're always happy to help, listen to you and actually do what you ask of them without any fuss. Well that's my experience of them over the past 3 years anyway.
A few other energy companies which will remain nameless could learn a thing or 2 from Southern
well done guys :T

They do have a good reputation for customer service. Unfortunately, they always come out as expensive for me (heavy user in Eastern region).0

I'd agree about the customer service, however I guess they are subsidising the 'free' energy monitors by being around 10% more expensive than other suppliers for electricity. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I must say they seem to be quite cheap in my opinion compared to some of the other leading suppliers, I've noticed considerable savings since switching. I'm also in complete control of my direct debit payments. If I think they need to come down, they are changed without any fuss. I suppose bills depend on where you live and what you use in your home?
To be honest I'd gladly pay that little bit extra for good customer service, rather than pay less and have the hassle of dealing with a bunch of clowns0 -
have you recently signed up to their better plan tariff? it encourages you to reduce your energy with credits on your account (i think) and you get the monitor with that.0

hmm yeh the documentation I got recently mentioned the better plan. I had no idea what it was. I've recently moved address but signed up to Southern again as they've been a breath of fresh air0
