Virgin Wines - dont be so innocent !

I signed up to the SMILE account to get the 12 bottles of wine for free. I got the wine but was regularly emailed with offers etc from Virgin Wines. Of course I ignored them.
Then one day, another crate of wine.How kind. No, not quite. Virgin had signed me up to the Discovery Club. They call it the discovery club because its only when you get the crate of wine on your doorstep, and have your credit card debited that you "discover" that Virgin have clubbed you and that you will be accepting a box of wine of their choice.

I contacted Virgin and told them I was not happy, without argument they collected the box of wine from me, Im going to keep an eye on my account to see if they refund the money. Watch this space.

If they've removed funds from your card without your authority, it's theft.

I could say "Virgin on the ridiculous" - but I wouldn't stoop that low !
