Laptop Graphics card help someone technical out there

hi
my laptop is acting up , my mouse arrow now has squares at the side of it.
when the xp screenloads,the screen is full of squares, has the graphics card gone or on the way out.
i have written this email on the laptop, as it isworking but has this problem.
can you replace the graphics card, if faulty and how easy is it to do.
or can i right the laptop off and need to buy an other.
any info on dismantling the laptop to take a look
played with resolution settings etc made no difference
any help would be welcomed.

most laptop graphics are part of the motherboard so theres nothing to change/replace
what make/model laptop is it ??Ex forum ambassador
