Goldfish Loan - Address

Options
Does anyone know what happened to Goldfish, I sent my first letter to Glasgow over 8 weeks ago but did not get a response, I now understand they moved or been taken over? Does anyone know an address to forward a claim for PPI on a Loan taken out in 2004.
Many thanks.

    Hi there

I am not sure what has happened with them, but checked them out on "Companies house search", and found this here:

    Name & Registered Office:
    THE GOLDFISH COMPANY LTD
    7 THORNHILL BRIDGE WHARF
    CALEDONIAN ROAD
    LONDON
    N1 0RU
    Company No. 02742194

However, they may not be the same company, as there are many of them, so if you have any paperwork check the company number, you can check to what I know of on companies house up until midnight, don't think companies house are available for search on Sundays though.

Goldfish loans were actually provided by Lloyds TSB. Goldfish credit cards have been taken over by Barclaycard for some months now.

Let me know if you need addresses, I have been in correspondance with both lately.
LBM November 2005: approx £32K
    Current debt: approx £12K :T
Getting there one day at a time ;)

  • Hi Di, I'm fine. How are you and the family?

I just spotted the address thread - the Lloyds TSB and Barclaycard addresses I use are already there.

  • I heard Barclays have been left a right mess after taking over Goldfish credit cards, so chances are you may get lucky lol! I hear that they can't find old customers details let alone CCA's lol! I heard maybe some ex disgruntled staff being given the boot, always seem to find a way to accidentally wipe of a shed load of data!
