    I do find it odd though how the CCCS counsellor actually asked me if I was in receipt of DLA and Careers Allowance
    You can declare it, but as I've mentioned, it can't be used.

    thanks for the info re DLA etc 10past6.We are in the process of setting up with the CCCS and they have included this as income-no mention of not doing so!.Do I just ring them to readjust our incomings?.My husband recieves dla and a war pension.

    If they've calculated the benefits into a DMP, ring them and request an adjustment of your I&E.

    Update
    husband rang and the cccs said the dla had to be included,despite his assertion that it didn't as he is getting a motability car.They asked how much of the dla was taken by motability,inferring they would include any spare.However the car takes up the entire dla,so they have agreed to remove it from the income we provided.This did take a while though,and cccs on here confirmed disability payments should be included,so not sure they are up to date with the non inclusion of disability related benefit.Thanks for all your help
