It's a fact that a PDA & satnav software combination is a bit too complex for the ladies - don't want too many blonde moments in the car ;) . Best go for an all-in-one system like Tomtom 1.

you can get tomtom software for the PDA & a seperate GPS

The GPS I use is here

    gps

It's about 40-50 quid on ebay including p&p

Your PDA will need to support bluetooth for this one to work with it.

Do some searches on your model too as there are many compatability problems with tomtom on windows mobile & PDA's at the mo. Mine was a nightmare to get working on the dell Axim 5x but now that it's on all is working fine.

Let me know if you want any more info & I'll try to help you out. I've just got it working on an axim 3x too for my boss & my mate has it running on his Ipaq.

    worto.

I have serial & bluetooth GPS devices. The bluetooth device works fine with Tom Tom on PDA & Smartphone. However on the smartphone I can't change the GPS device from bluetooth to serial. Is it possible or is the Tom Tom smartphone software limited to bluetooth devices?
Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.
