I have no doubt that this is a perennial question! I am looking at buying a second car a 57/08 Micra. We have seen one on the forcourt marked up at £5995 and on the net the same car is £5495, when asked he dropped to £5250 with no tax or service ( not due one, but I would like one just to make sure ). Now a colleague of my Dh's has just got a pre reg 58 Fiesta for £7500! That is 1K off Parker's. What do you think is a reasonable offer, I know it depends on the attitude at the garage as some price to sell and some to haggle, but what do you think for a 57 plate Visia + slightly high mileage at 20K. Good nick, but not A1.
