Enjoy a fabulous break in the Algarve, Portugal!

• 4 days / 3 nights for two in a standard room at the Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa, including a full Hilton breakfast each day

• 20,000 Hilton HHonors® bonus points

• Complimentary access to the Seven Spa social areas worth £125*!

• Personal presentation from Hilton Grand Vacations Club

And if you book by 30 June 2009, you'll also receive a €50 Hilton dining voucher to use during your stay and a further £50 off the package price. Pay only £199* for the entire package!

I am a member of the Hilton Honors points scheme and received this email today,it does say i have to attend a presentation for 2 hours in the break,it looks good but wary of timeshare element of this, has anyone been to this resort and attended said 2 hours.

thoughts appreciated

cheers

    Hi OP.

Any chance of some info in the subject line instead of just 'email received'.

Stops everybody having to open the thread to find out what its about.

    Cheers

Other than the fact that 2 hrs for the presentation is possibly a conservative estimate, I'd not really have any reservations along the lines of the ones one might have with less reputable timeshare companies.

The usual promo deal is £299 without 20,000 points (link below) and HGV have been targeting Honors members for over a week with this offer.

So at £199 (link below) with 20,000 points, with a little research on the resort, it could well be a good deal.
