    Wot he said!

    Or...

    Zip it.

Not sure if you can upload a WMV to a photo hosting site? If you can, use one of those?

You might also be better to reduce the photo sizes and re-do the WMV file. As they are only going to be viewed on a screen, there is no point in them being any bigger than screen resolution (1 megapixel).

I agree with using any available options to reduce the size of the pictures / videos as they are only going to be viewed on-screen. This will probably reduce the size considerably.

Not sure that zipping the file will make much difference but it will give you the option of splitting the file into emailable chunks - probably as four separate files so each one is less than 10MB. These need to be put back together by the recipient, which isn't difficult.

Convert to FLV format, the file size will reduce dramatically, Google 'AVS'

    1. set up dropbox (getdropbox dot com) account and put the file in your dropbox, you will then be able to email a url link to anyone who wishes to view or you can make it public so any one can view.
    2. zip it up but specify the max size of the file this will split it into several smaller zips ( a set of zips) then send several emails each with a part file attached.

So, the first is easyer and more convenient and once set up can be used for several things.

I use Picasa for my photos (http://picasa.google.com/) it's brilliant. If you want to email a photo you can tick a box to make the photo smaller to send.

Put them into a .zip file, then use hjsplit (google it) to put it into multiple archives, then upload!
