1x1.png
My intel 3945ABG wi-fi card was being a pain in the rear, When you turned on the computer it sometimes didn't find my router, i had to connect it using LAN and that sprung the wireless into action, now its not finding anything, there are about 5 rputers are here, it cant find any. Anyone any ideas? When I reboot the router it finds networks for a few seconds then they all disapear

Mine stopped working the other day, and it took me a while to figure out that there was a little switch on the side of the laptop...

You're either out of range of the wireless, knocked the little on/off switch on the side of the laptop for the wireless or the motherboards got a fault due to heat related problems.

See if there are any new drivers for the wifi card. That often helps in cases like this.

I am so glad I'm not the only one - only I got as far as phoning the helpline and feeling really silly.
