Tesco - what a Fiasco!

  • Personally, I'd have used the time spent online complaining about the fact that their kids got refused alcohol to do a bit of online shopping for the bloke involved. Anyway, Happy Father's Day, bloke concerned - have a few crates of oblivion - that way you won't notice the slightly hysterical wife carping on about Tesco or the severely hungover teenagers crashed out upstairs.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

as already stated, there is nothing wrong with this, it is pretty much common practice in all supermarkets, i work for morrisons, and it is exactly the same, if 2 or more people got through the checkout, and one of the people either dont look old enough, or dont have i.d, then nobody is allowed to buy the alchohol, the person who has i.d cant even go out the store, then come back in alone and purchase it, as they already been seen with minor, as already stated, how does the cashier know that these people are not trading standards that are trying to catch people out, at the end of the day, if the cashier gets caught out selling alchohol to under age people it is them who can get fined upto £5000, not the company, Dave
Take every day as it comes!!
