N9aev - since i switched courts to the criminal court i see how hard the police work to get everything ready for trial - it must be very satisfying to see justice done.

WM is on & 1st load is on the line, DW has been emptied, next door cats have been fed, watered & petted, fish have been fed as has hubby.
I'm hoping to get to the local charity shops today as I need some summery footwear as my last pair went in the bin last week.
Have a good day everyone.

morning all!
DH still in bed recovering from shifting part of the shed yesterday with help form DS2 and myself.
Today we're off to West Bromwich to visit a close friend of mine who moved there a couple of years ago. I really miss her but we chat on the phone a lot. She is in the position of having to live with her estranged husband because of financial reasons so not the best of situations but they get by. I think we're off out for a carvery while we're there. It wont hurt DH to have a rest and keep out of the garden for a bit.
PP - (((hugs))) sorry things havent been going well for you x
Diva - good luck with the jabs.
OS things - washing on the line, house cleaned(sort of), dinner is leftovers from yesterday.

Another MIA person ... been on holiday and then worked off my little white socks with barely a moment to play!
OS stuff is really happening though. Freezer stock is being run down and I just can't believe the amount of food stuffed in there, I could feed a battalion of soldiers for at least a fortnight (chance would be a fine thing!). So I'm now using up all those yellow stickered items which have been bought and put away.
Since changing the car and getting a diesel I am astounded at the reduction in what I have to put in now. The other car must have been lined with kitchen roll, I'm so chuffed.
Just off to Leeds until tomorrow for business (well, I'm volunteering to support some business work) and so it's another night in a 'free' hotel. In addition I always collect the little bottles of shower gel and shampoos and give them to the local homeless shelter/kitchen.
Have a good weekend folks - good thoughts are going to those who need them.

Morning All
Hope everyone is well! Its been a while since I last visited, I feel like a fraudster popping back!
The day has finally arrived for my half marathon charity walk. It starts at midnight tonight. I have manage to raise £310 so far, with all proceeds going to the local hospice.
I think Im ready, well - its a bit late if Im not. lol
My veg is growing brilliant in the garden. Ive got tomatoes, green beans, peas, carrots, rhubarb and fresh corriander! How do we know when the carrots are ready? As they grow in the ground, I cant see!
Mum will be doing a reflexology session on my feet this afternoon. Which Im looking forward to. A nice treat to relax for an hour!
Best be off and the WM loaded up!

Morning everyone.
Black clouds threatening here. Had a massive downpour overnight so not sure whether to risk hanging the washing out or not? Sods law is I will do it and then have to dash out again. The clothes horse is already up so I think I will just hang it up there instead.
Need to pop out to Mr T and get some bread flour and yeast. Also need to get some bits in for the meals next week. H is off out to buy an iron. Ours died just before we went away (was only 6 months old but can't find the receipt) so we need a new one to tackle the mountain of washing we've done.
Not sure what's for tea. Will have a nose in the freezer I think. Got half a beef joint to cook, might do that tomorrow in the SC as last time I did it was delicious!!
Got the usual housework/tidying up to do. I swear it's ALL I ever seem to do is put things away.........
N9eav - sorry your fishing was cancelled
Tired mum - ROFL @ getting tackle out
Crazychik - good luck with your half marathon walk
Pen Pin - sorry hospital appointment didn't go well
Flissh - hope the months without your H go really quick
Have a lovely weekend everyone OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Morning,
We've been busily rushing round getting everything ready for DS2's party tonight. Food done (not much tbh just pizza's, crisps & sausages etc) and music sorted. DH will be going up later on to set the bouncy castle up. We've managed to get the gym in a local sports club so there'll be plenty of room. DH was given the bouncy castle by a fellow Lion last year and we've never had it up yet as it's 40' There'll be 30 fifteen yr olds on it later so just as well :rotfl: The party timing is 6pm - 10.30pm which DS thought was a bit stingy but is enough for meHis actual birthday on Tuesday will be a quiet affair in comparrison.
Minestrone soup & baguettes for tea as people can just get some whenever they're in the house. I'll make that soon too. Washing machine done its usual 2 loads hoping to get them dried outside as it's stopped raining now :T
Have a good day all0
