Help Managed Share Funds

Calling all Managed Fund Experts. I have never invested in a managed fund and was hoping someone could guide me to the best buys. Is there a checklist to go through to see if a managed fund is a good buy ? Is there perticular sectors which are recommended at the moment ? I know this is a very broad question but any narrowing of it with pointers would be helpful in helping me make a decison. Or even the best people to buy from.

Many Thanks in Advance !

Raja Style I have always used a company called Commshare who actually share their renewal commission with their customers.Phone them at 02083081308 for your required application forms, and check to see if their terms apply to new customers.good luck. :)

never invest in just one sector. Spread it around the various sectors so that the percentage averages out to suit your risk profile.

Picking the "best" fund is not as important as diversification. Each sector takes it in turn to be the best, in no particular order.

  • Reproducing what I have been hearing and reading for a long time - two sectors that are supposedly guaranteed winners - Banking and Telecommunications - but then, remember, if reading up made you pick the winners, all librarians would be billionaires ;D
