3 questions re: Mac compatibilty

Hi - I have 2 questions regarding my Apple Mac - please bear with me as I am not 'techie' minded! I have an Apple mac (Mac OS x version 10.4.11) I use I-Tunes frequently and download music to my I-Pod shuffle which has recently died on me. Anyway I have been given a Samsung YP-K5 MP3 player and when connecting it to Mac nothing happens - I assume its not compatible - is there anywhere I can download a driver to make it work or is it a lost cause?
My second question is about my OH phone - it is a Nokia 6300 - the CD-Rom that came with it is for Windows - is there somewhere I can get a Mac one? This phone only came with a charger and headphones, do you think I would be able to buy a connection for Mac?
Actually- I should have said 3 questions. I see the phone has a micro sd memory card. What is the best way to download/print photos from it? Do I only have to use the bluetooth connection?
I hope this all makes sense! Thanks for your help!
PS - I should say that I have been looking on-line to answers to my questions but am beginning to get bamboozled with science!

One and two can probably be answered with a quick google, and the third would be best to remove the memory card, insert into an adapter and then card reader; or bluetooth, but that may be very difficult and slow.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

Not sure about the mp3 player0 -
The reason your Mac can't 'see' the player is that it uses Microsoft's Media Transfer Protocol. To get around this you can use something called XNJB.I have been given a Samsung YP-K5 MP3 player and when connecting it to Mac nothing happens - I assume its not compatible - is there anywhere I can download a driver to make it work or is it a lost cause?
It is possible to upgrade the player's firmware thus removing this limitation entirely, but the process is apparently rather fiddly.0
