I'm with you Larmy. I bought mine about 1 year ago from a shop on Ebay. Yes they do have wings. I find them really good but I only wear them when I'm home. While at work I use the disposables. But I only work 2 days so usually it works out and I don't use them much.
I did download a pattern from the netbut I'm really not much of a sewer so it was easier to buy them. I also used cloth nappies except for travelling long distances.
P.S. I don't really have a pattern for knitted panty liners.Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
I bought my washable ST's from a recommendation on the Feminine Hygine thread along with my Mooncup. Can't recommend them enough, esp. after I had my son & was bleeding heavily. Mine have wings too:rolleyes: And hubby has a whole plethera of jokes about the moon rising in my lady garden.........:rotfl::o
Anyway, back to the original point...........I have often seen unopened packs of nappies listed on ebay & they always seem to sell allbeit for quite low sums I suppose due to the P & P but maybe worth a try? Esp. if you can sell tehm as one bulk batch you might get a bit for them.

Doh! I'd just found some Double knitting wool I thought I could use!

problem solved: gave nappies to my sons nursery yesterday, they have disabled children and also keep a stock for some newbies that are not quite toilet trained - so they were very pleased to have them!!
Also I liked the point about putting on in a nappy bag incase of emergencies whilst out, thanks.
Thanks to all for your help.0 -
Why are people so squeamish about the idea of HM sanipads yet quite happy for them to be lying around in bins and landfill?
Since having IUS fitted haven't needed any 'supplies' otherwise would have made some already.
The only problem I would have is where to put them to dry would, be a bit embarrassed about pegging them on washing line and my teens would be mortified.
Shez, sorry for going off topic. I'm glad you found a good home for your old nappies.0
