Sainsbury's 0% no instant decision

in Credit cards
I have just applied on-line for the Sainsbury's Platinum credit card.
The site says it takes 7 days for a credit employee to make a decision.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Does this mean I will be offered the other card instead?
If I am turned down can anyone advise me how to get the reason from Sainsbury's for the rejection of my application?

No worry. I was told the same when I applied, but got approved letter in 5 days, and another 10 days to get the card.0
