I wouldnt go in all guns blazing. Just state the facts calmly and tell them what your bank said. In fact I would write a letter tonight to give to the person you see as well as explaining to them. They can then forward this to their head office and you then have the start of a paper trail if anything goes wrong down the line. Good luck and like i say chilllllllll

The DD guarantee scheme only covers when a payment is PAID and not when it is returned unpaid. The bank will advise getting the company who made the mistake to pay you for their error. Just to clarify something, what has happened is not within the DD Guarantee scheme but is an error on the part of the company and from what you have written, it seems like they have admitted as such
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

hi natwest, basically when i phoned up the company they sounded fed up like lots of people had been complaining, they said it was a banking error on their side and they would be sending out a letter, wish i had the letter as it would be better to have that. wouldnt be bothering so much but bank told me charges wouldnt come out until july but as they are early then its got me panicking.
